United States international Gianluca Busio is getting to grips with his new lifestyle as a Venezia player, enjoying an espresso before a boat trip to work through ancient buildings.
He is the second American player to join the Lagunari this summer, after Tanner Tessmann, and the 19-year-old midfielder cost a reported €6m.
Busio is not entirely a stranger to Italian culture, as his father is from near Brescia, which is also why he has an Italian passport and doesn’t take up a non-EU slot in the Venezia squad.
