Italy internationals Federico Bernardeschi and Lorenzo Insigne scored one goal each in Toronto FC’s 2-0 win over Charlotte FC last night.

The Euro 2020 winners have had a significant impact in the MLS and got their names on the scoresheet in last night’s match against Charlotte FC.

Bernardeschi scored the second goal of the night and assisted his compatriot for the first goal at minute 49. His corner kick from the right found Insigne alone at the far post and the ex-Napoli captain put the ball in the net with an acrobatic volley.

Bernardeschi made it two less than 20 minutes later with a curler from the inside the box. The ex-Juventus winger has scored five goals in seven MLS games. Insigne has netted four in seven appearances.
