Nicolo Barella stopped for a brief moment to celebrate with the Inter supporters as he made his way home from San Siro after beating Milan in the semi-final of the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Nerazzurri midfielder emerged from the sunroof of his car to join in with the partying fans, who had lined the streets near the players’ car park and began chanting his name as he made his way out of the stadium.
In the clip, which has proved to be popular on social media, one fan can be heard loudly shouting: “You are the champion.”
For their consecutive victories over Milan in the semi-final, Inter will be rewarded with a place in the final in Istanbul, where they will face either Real Madrid or Manchester City on June 10.
