Juventus coach Max Allegri decided to ‘explain to the kids how it’s done’ by beating Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie at a corner kick challenge – barefoot.

The two players were having a competition during their Los Angeles pre-season training camp and USA international McKennie was complaining he was at a disadvantage because there was not enough space for a run-up.

So Allegri muttered about kids today needing things explained to them, stepped up to the precise spot McKennie had been struggling with, and promptly scored first time with bare feet.

Vlahovic tried it too and realised you get a better bend on the ball without football boots.

  1. Okay. I give some credit to Da Vinci Code Max as he got the ball in the net Flinstone style. But it does not count as in real games he tells his troops to go the other way and keep ball closer to their goal. How I would love to take that slipper he took off and bend him over and give him a slap on the bong kong for all this back, back, down, down.

  2. Allegri is the best Stand-up Comedian ever. He can amuse people on the pitch, even with bare foot tactics
