Mario Balotelli silenced Galatasaray fans with a perfect free kick on Monday, but that wasn’t enough for his Adana Demirspor side to avoid defeat.

The former Inter and Milan striker scored a free kick goal at the NEF Stadyumu on Monday night and shared the video on social media.

Balotelli’s post shows Galatasaray fans booing and trying to disturb him while he was preparing for the free-kick, but the Italy international still managed to find the net with a brilliant effort.

Balo also hit the crossbar with a curler from the edge of the box and Adana Demirspor eventually suffered a 3-2 loss. ‘Unlucky, but proud of you,’ wrote the ex-Liverpool and Manchester City forward.

Balotelli has scored 14 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions this season.

  1. Mario, you will always have my support. Shame Mancio did not call you against North Macedonia. I hope he does now.

  2. quality was never an issue with balotelli, only his attitude problem. however, if i was the coach i would chose him over several players who did nothing & will never do anything!

  3. mancini took it personal not professional against balotelli not choosing him against macedonia. balo was hungry & wanted to prove the otherwise. idiot mancini should of understood that! mancini as manager means problems & no progression!

  4. I said it before that this mature Balotelli in the playoffs would have thrown himself into the net to score. Just his charging presence would have instilled fear factor in defenders. Shame in Mancio.

  5. Nice to see this goal. It made me check the latest Turkish results. Looks like Balotelli added a few more goals in today’s game. So 19 in 32 games. It’s time for a call up.
