Gareth Bale caused outrage in Madrid by laughing at Eden Hazard when the Belgium international was sent to the bench by Carlo Ancelotti after warming up.
The La Liga giants were eliminated from the Copa del Rey quarter-finals last night at the hands of Athletic Club.
Bale, Hazard and Luka Jovic were left on the bench for the entire match. Hazard seemed on the verge of entering the pitch at some point, but Carlo Ancelotti sent him to the bench again after the warm up, triggering Bale’s reaction.
El Chiringuito posted the images of Bale laughing at Hazard while sitting down after the warm up.
Bale was never even sent to warm up and hasn’t played a minute for the club since August 28.
Ancelotti seemed quite annoyed at the end of the match when he was asked if the trio had been left out because of a punishment.
His Real Madrid side are the current La Liga leaders with a four-point lead over second-placed Sevilla.

While I understand why the other story about Ancelotti’s team getting knocked out of the cup was posted on Football Italia, this post doesn’t really make sense. So it’s a grainy video of Gareth Bale laughing while sitting on the bench? We’re just posting anything these days?
