Travelling Atletico Madrid supporters have been gathering in the city of Milan ahead of Tuesday evening’s Champions League Round of 16 first leg against Inter in San Siro.
The Piazza Duomo has been the designated meeting spot for Atleti supporters, as it has been for so many groups of away fans ahead of European matches over the years.
It is believed that over 4,000 Atletico fans will be in the city over the course of Tuesday, with around 3,000 supporters holding tickets for the sold-out game at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Over 80,000 spectators in total will be in attendance, one of whom will be rapper Kanye West, watching Inter for the first time since featuring the club’s Curva Nord ultras on two tracks of his recent album with Ty Dolla Sign, ‘Vultures 1’.
Kick-off on Tuesday evening is scheduled for 20.00 GMT.
