Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini has gone viral in Italy after a video caught him throwing a sandwich out of his car at a group of Milan fans who were insulting him.
The incident seemingly occurred after last night’s 2-0 defeat at San Siro, sealed by a Juan Musso own goal on the Theo Hernandez ricochet and Junior Messias dinked finish.
On his way home from the game, Gasperini crossed paths with a group of Milan fans who hurled abuse at him from their vehicle.
The clip does not show what made the coach so angry, but it does depict him hurling something in return – his sandwich.
