Aston Villa midfielder Leander Dendoncker has just arrived at Rome’s Villa Stuart to undergo his medical tests with Napoli.
The Belgium international is on the verge of joining defending Serie A champions Napoli on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
The Partenopei quickly reached an agreement with Aston Villa on Tuesday so the versatile 28-year-old landed in Rome the following day to undergo his medical at Villa Stuart.
Dendoncker will sign his contract with Napoli after medical examinations in the capital.
