Max Allegri opted for some very direct motivation to his Juventus star Federico Bernardeschi, giving him a literal kick up the backside.

The incident occurred during today’s Derby della Mole against Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Spotting his player dilly-dallying on the touchline, Allegri took the opportunity to do something many Juve fans have wanted to do for years – give Bernardeschi a boot up the behind.

The Italy international has always been blessed with talent, but so rarely shows it with any degree of consistency.

  1. Bernarddeschi should have went to Napoli, instead now you take the blame for all that goes wrong at Juventus not to mention they never gave you the tools to develop, enjoy your Juve $$ imo,, donkey move!

  2. He should also be giving a kick up the ass to Kean and Mckennie. One failed to hold the ball up and the lost the ball with every touch and the other should be taking rugby kicks as he fluffed two great chances.

  3. Forza Allegri, this is exactly what the players needed. We must bring back the grinta, and the players have to understand the weight of the shirt and what is represents.

  4. @tony well said. I can finally see some anger and passion with this side. I think on a mental level we are definitely getting better. This international brake should help us fix the issues in attack. LOl Berna definitely needed a kick in the behind and McKennie needs time off from the starting 11. SArcone well said with those kicks McKennie has a career waiting for him in the NFL or the Aussie rules rugby league. He has a lot of potential, but on a mental level he has been dreadful. Last season he proved himself to be worthy, this season he has not shown anything. Locatelli was exactly what we needed in the midfield. Good win mates now lets hope we continue wining after the brake

  5. @Peter, don’t worry, Bernardeschi is now slowly regain his form. Allegri’s kick on his back was a sign of love. lol He did that too to Chiesa.
@white rabbit. Yes, Locatelli has been amazing. I love this kid already. With Arthur-Locatelli in midfield, Juve’s future is bright.

  6. bernardeschi is all about mentality.
his 1st season was good but since some of “we want attacking juve” and flashy circus juve fans dont like allegri to favoured for bernardeschi, because of dougie costa and also some dybala hardcore fanatics doesn’t like their idol had the possibility to be replaced by bernardeschi, so the cult for belittle fede and made him as scapegoat for bad results started.
the same with rugani, who was down mentally because some benatia lovers, the same people who think demiral is a beast lol.
just look how Atalanta struggle in their defense with demiral lol.
benatia? never exist in the world anymore.
i hope with allegri trust bernardeschi back to his true form.
his partnership with chiesa so far is fantastic.
i think the only paratici blunders that we still possessed are ramsey, sir cesni, rabbiot salary, de ligt salary.
I doubt Arthur will play better than his 1st season.
    locatteli just a better regista.
if juve can have loca, tonali and barella in the same field, we will be winning champion league.
