Alexis Sanchez almost injured himself even before he signed for Olympique Marseille, as the former Inter striker got a bit carried away with the fans.
He was greeted by hundreds of fans at the airport after flying in with a private jet from Milan this evening, having terminated his contract with the Nerazzurri by mutual consent.
His medical is tomorrow morning and Marseille will hope the Chile international didn’t do any damage when going on a run to shake hands with supporters, slipping on bottles, spent flares and other debris on the ground.
