Roma striker Tammy Abraham mocked his compatriot and teammate Chris Smalling for not speaking Italian yet: ‘He’s only said Ciao.’

The Giallorossi opened Trigoria to the media in the morning, showing their training session and releasing interviews with many players and coach José Mourinho.

Smalling also spoke to reporters, but Abraham interrupted his interview, mocking his teammate for not speaking Italian.

How many words has he said? He asked journalists, smiling. They replied that ‘Ciao’ was the only Italian word heard from his compatriot who had moved to Roma in 2019.

Abraham joined the Giallorossi last summer from Chelsea and has become the most prolific debutant in the club’s history, with 24 goals in 50 appearances across all competitions.
