However, Pescara are already in negotiations to sell both Verre and Caprari to Napoli.

Sky Sport Italia claim the deal is worth in the region of €7.5m for the pair, but they’d likely remain on loan at Pescara for at least one more year to gain experience.

Verre is a 22-year-old midfielder who grew up in the Roma youth academy, going on to spells at Udinese, Genoa, Siena, Palermo and Perugia.

Caprari also came up through the Giallorossi ranks and is a striker who turns 23 next month.

This season he scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists in 38 Serie B games for Pescara.

It is hoped these negotiations can reach a positive conclusion after Napoli saw Pescara centre-forward Gianluca Lapadula opt for Milan instead this week.
