Italy international Marco Verratti is increasingly likely to start tonight’s Champions League Final for PSG against Bayern Munich.

The 27-year-old has only played one full competitive match since February, the Coupe de la Ligue Final against Lyon on July 31.
He suffered a calf injury in training and missed the Champions League quarter-final with Atalanta, only playing seven minutes of the 3-0 semi-final victory over RB Leipzig.

The Italian is expected to step in for Leandro Paredes, while Kylian Mbappé, Angel Di Maria and Neymar complete the trident attack.
Former Inter striker Mauro Icardi will be left on the bench, but goalkeeper Keylor Navas is back after his injury in the quarter-final.
Bayern Munich must choose between Inter-owned Ivan Perisic and former Juventus winger Kingsley Coman.
Robert Lewandowski is also supported by Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller.
There is Italian involvement too, as the referee for the Champions League Final is Daniele Orsato, with Lorenzo Magnanelli and Alessandro Giallatini as assistant referees.
Massimiliano Irrati is the VAR, assisted by Marco Guida and Spain’s Alejandro Hernandez.
