Verratti to become Raiola client?

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti is reportedly considering switching agents, from Donato Di Campli to Mino Raiola.

According to Sportitalia, Verratti is seriously contemplating the idea of dropping Di Campli, who drew controversy when he suggested the Italian was being kept hostage by PSG.

That forced the 24-year-old to offer a public apology for his representative’s comments, while tellingly condemning them.

Raiola is described as “one of the most powerful” agents in Europe, counting the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mario Balotelli and Gianluigi Donnarumma among his clientel.

However, it is his links with Manchester United that saw Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku move to the Red Devils for a combined €200m over the past 12 months.

Verratti was also linked with United by the Italian Press earlier on Tuesday, while he remains a target for Barcelona.
