There is growing speculation that the Argentine forward could be targeted by Inter in January, a club who are bossed by Walter Mazzarri – his former tactician at Napoli.

“I’m certain that Lavezzi will stay,” the Italian international told Sky Sport Italia when asked about his teammate.

“He’s someone that lives for the enjoyment of the game. It was a little bit tough for him at the start of the season, but he’s now always smiling in training.

“He’ll stay at PSG for some time to come.”

The 28-year-old, formerly of Genoa, joined the French outfit in the summer of 2012 at a cost of around €30m.
