Marco Verratti is reportedly a major doubt for the first leg of PSG’s Champions League quarter-final with Bayern Munich due to a thigh strain.

The midfielder left the Italy camp after the 2-0 wins over Northern Ireland and Bulgaria with an injury.

According to RMC Sport, Verratti has a lesion to the thigh and is expected to miss this weekend’s Ligue 1 game with Lille.

He is also a major doubt for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich already announced today that Robert Lewandowski will be out for a month with a strained knee ligament he sustained on international duty with Poland.

That means the hitman will miss both legs of the quarter-final.
