Marco Verratti believes Italy are becoming “more clinical” after qualifying for Euro 2016.
The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder provided a splendid assist for Eder in a 3-1 victory away to Azerbaijan on Saturday.
“We are still unbeaten in our group and that is a big advantage to have,” Verratti told Sky Sport Italia.
“We’re getting more clinical. When we need to defend, we can do that. It’s a good quality for a team.”

The Azzurri need a point against Norway in Rome on Tuesday to secure top spot in the group.
However, the Scandinavians will only be sure of qualification ahead of Croatia with a victory.
Italy are unbeaten in 49 qualifiers between Euros and World Cups.
