Hellas Verona have reportedly agreed a deal with FC Koln for Slovakia international midfielder Ondrej Duda, who will have his medical tomorrow.

According to various sources including Sky Sport Italia, this will be a loan move for six months with option to buy at the end of the season for €2.5m.

Duda is expected to be in Italy for his medical on Tuesday before putting pen to paper on the contract.

So far this season, Duda has amassed 18 appearances for the club, scoring two goals between the Bundesliga and Conference League.

The 28-year-old formerly played for the likes of Legia Warsaw, Hertha Berlin and Norwich City before his €7m transfer to Koln in September 2020.

His contract with the German team only runs to June 2024.

Duda has a great deal of experience, making 52 senior appearances for Slovakia, and plays primarily as a trequartista or support striker.

Verona needed reinforcements in attack after losing Thomas Henry for the rest of the season to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
