After their European success, Milan will be keen to keep up the momentum in their Sunday afternoon trip to Hellas Verona.

The match between the Gialloblu and the Rossoneri kicks off at 14.00 UK time at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi in Verona.

Milan did well in their trip to the Fortuna Arena for their Europa League Round of 16 clash with Slavia Praha, picking up a 3-1 win after goals from Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Rafael Leao. In the league, they sit just a point ahead of Juventus in second place, having rediscovered their form.

Mike Maignan has recovered from the knee complaint suffered in Prague, but Tommaso Pobega and Alex Jimenez are unavailable through injury for Stefano Pioli.

Hellas Verona had been in disastrous form this season but in recent weeks they’ve started to turn things around, picking up back-to-back wins over Sassuolo and Lecce. They sit just two points clear of the relegation zone.

The Gialloblu’s only injury is Juan Manuel Cruz and they also cannot count on the suspended Thomas Henry.

When these two teams met back in September, Milan picked up a 1-0 win after an early goal from Leao.

Probable line-ups for Hellas Verona vs Milan
