Hellas Verona fans mocked President Maurizio Setti for the departure of numerous star names by setting up a yard sale outside the Stadio Bentegodi.

The supporters organised to gather several hours before this afternoon’s Serie A match against Frosinone, told to bring any old items of bric-a-brac.

They certainly responded, putting a pile of junk on the pavement including an old sofa.

It was accompanied by a banner dedicated to President Setti, who is struggling with financial investigations.

‘You sell everything and continue to balance your own books!’

There was also a sign pointing punters towards the ‘Setti Bazar’ as the yard sale was renamed.

In the January transfer window so far, Verona have sold Cyril Ngonge to Napoli, Isak Hien to Atalanta, Josh Doig to Sassuolo, Filippo Terracciano to Milan, Martin Hongla to Granada and Milan Djuric to Monza.

There were also loans for Marco Davide Faraoni, Koray Gunter, Yayah Kallon and Jayden Braaf.
