Eusebio Di Francesco is getting closer to the Hellas Verona job and needs to negotiate a contract termination with Cagliari.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Di Francesco is progressing in his negotiations with Verona to replace Ivan Juric.
The 51-year-old had taken Roma to the Champions League semi-finals, but has struggled in recent years.
He was fired by Sampdoria after just eight games, then sacked by Cagliari in February 2021.
The Sardinians had extended his contract as a show of faith not long before his dismissal, so that now has to be terminated by mutual consent before he can sign for Verona.
