There is one major problem represented by the fans, as Balotelli is from Brescia and there is a fierce rivalry between the cities.

He was already infuriated by racist insults received during Inter’s trip to Chievo many years ago, a club that shares the Stadio Bentegodi with Hellas.

The Verona fans do have a reputation for racist chanting, so adding in the Brescia element and it could be a powder-keg.
