Jordan Veretout’s agent has assured that the midfielder is happy at Fiorentina but will not comment on Valencia and Olympique Lyonnais speculation.
Veretout has impressed in his first season with Fiorentina, scoring five goals in 22 appearances to help the Viola into ninth, and Fabrice Picot was asked about Frenchman’s future.
“Interest from Valencia and Lyon? They’re rumours, and as such I prefer not to comment on them,” he told Firenze Viola.

“Interest from Valencia and Lyon? They’re rumours, and as such I prefer not to comment on them,” he told Firenze Viola.
“The only thing I need to clarify is that I’m in Florence every now and then, more or less once every two or three weeks.
“When I go there, I always meet the club’s board members, so if there’s something that needs to be said, I’ll say it.
“For now, I prefer to say ‘no comment’. His future? It’s hard to say if he can stay for a number of years.
“At the moment, he’s living a really positive experience: he always plays as a starter and has integrated well, both into the team and city.
“For him, this is his second experience abroad after that in the Premier League with Aston Villa, and it’s going really well.
“The objective remains to try and get the team to qualify for the Europa League next season.”
