According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, FIGC Prosecutor Giuseppe Chinè will hear Juan Jesus and Francesco Acerbi before the weekend so the Sports Judge can give his verdict next week.

FIGC Prosecutor Chinè is investigating alleged racist remarks made by Francesco Acerbi toward Juan Jesus during Sunday’s Serie A game between Inter and Napoli.

Sports Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea has requested a supplementary investigation, so Chinè will soon hear Juan Jesus and Acerbi.

According to Gazzetta, Juan Jesus will talk to the Prosecutor today, Thursday, March 21, while Acerbi’s turn will come on Friday. According to the report, Acerbi will have a conference call with Chinè from Inter’s training centre, accompanied by a club lawyer.

Chinè could even hear Inter-Napoli referee Federico La Penna and send all the necessary documents to the sports judge by the weekend.

Therefore, judge Mastrandrea is expected to give his verdict next week. If found guilty, Acerbi will be banned for at least ten games, ending his season.
