The forward turned down the chance to join Napoli in the January transfer window, then picked up an injury playing against them at the San Paolo.
Today the Italian international was given a scan, and it’s been confirmed he’ll be out for a month with a thigh injury.
“The latest tests to which Simone Verdi was subjected confirmed a lesion to the left biceps femoris,” the Rossoblu confirmed on their official website.
