Giampiero Ventura confessed Udinese “wanted it more” after Torino lost their 12-match unbeaten record.
The Granata had taken the lead, then staged a late comeback, but were defeated 3-2 at the Stadio Friuli.
“With all due respect to Udinese, we threw away a great opportunity to extend our positive run,” Ventura told Rai Sport.

The Granata had taken the lead, then staged a late comeback, but were defeated 3-2 at the Stadio Friuli.
“With all due respect to Udinese, we threw away a great opportunity to extend our positive run,” Ventura told Rai Sport.
“Udinese wanted it more than we did and that means deserving the three points. We had more scoring opportunities throughout the game, though.
“The team that grew over the last few months should’ve come to Udine aware of its capabilities, but also with humility and sporting determination.”
Torino saw their excellent run of results end with Zenit manager Andre Villas Boas in the stands ahead of their Europa League clash.
“I think we made ourselves more unpredictable in his eyes,” joked Ventura.
“The first half confused me, so I can only imagine what he made of it.”
