Giampiero Ventura felt Torino “deserved more” from their draw with Lazio after missing a penalty.
Andrea Belotti had opened the scoring and Ciro Immobile ballooned a spot-kick over the bar, but in the second half Lucas Biglia converted another penalty to seal the 1-1 result.
“There are regrets that we didn’t scored the second goal, as we deserved to both in the first half and after the break,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“There are regrets that we didn’t scored the second goal, as we deserved to both in the first half and after the break,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“We created many scoring opportunities, but at these levels if you don’t convert them then evidently you need to improve.
“We started to lift our performance against Milan last week and we continued along that positive path today, because we had the right spirit, focus and effort.
“In the last four rounds we could easily have won, yet we only picked up two points out of an available 12, which is madness if you look at the performances.
“Immobile wasn’t the only one who wasted chances, as so did Marco Benassi, Davide Zappacosta and Daniele Baselli. We have to be stronger in these situations.
“Overall we played very well and deserved more.”
Ventura was also asked about the rumours he is being considered for the Italy job.
“They are just that, rumours. I feel like adding ‘unfortunately,’ but I won’t… In life you can never say never, that much is true.”
