The game ended 1-0 to the hosts thanks to a Luca Antonelli goal just before half-time.
“Today if we had got a result then Milan could not have complained,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.
“We conceded a goal on a set play, then in the second half spent the entire time in the opposition half. It’s disappointing not to get a point when we deserved one.
“Today we played with character and I finally saw the right enthusiasm again. It was not easy to face this Milan, who are going through an excellent period of form.
“With a little more sharpness we could’ve taken home a draw, but the important thing is that tonight I found my Torino again and we weren’t scared by Milan.
“This team was built to play 3-5-2 and can change for certain periods of the game, but not definitively. If I wanted to change system, I’d also have to change the players, because they have specific characteristics.
“Ciro Immobile is getting back to the striker he was two years ago and is starting to attack the space.”
