The former Torino boss also turned 70 earlier this year, prompting doubts over how much longer he has in the game, but he vowed to return ‘wherever conditions exist for me’.
“I have a huge desire to bounce back, but I can’t afford to make any mistakes this time,” he told RMC Sport.
“Italy or abroad? I look for football, wherever conditions exist for me. Next season? We must consider Juventus to be favourites, but there can be surprises.
“Roma have shown great ambition, while Inter have signed players their Coach wanted. Verdi? He’s a player of real quality.
“He’s matured and he has the opportunity to compete in European competitions. He has extraordinary prospects ahead of him.
“Torino? They missed out on Europe last season, but they were partly affected by Belotti’s injury: Now they’ve shown that they really want Europe.”
