Venezia have unveiled their new home kit for the 2021-22 season, which is primarily black with the orange and green trim.
The Lagunari earned their promotion back to the top flight via the Serie B play-offs.
They celebrate with new kit sponsors Kappa, who designed the look inspired by Venetian details and iconography.
Their press release notes that closer inspection will spot the printed trompe l’oeil Venetian wall texture on the base, created from the photographs of aged facades taken around the lagoon.
There are also gold elements, reflecting the gilded churches and monuments of the city.
This includes gold stars from the Basilica di San Marco arranged in a V formation.
Venezia are the Arancioneroverdi – orange, black and green – so the other two colours are present on the sleeve and neck trims, as well as a flag in the centre.
Naturally, they chose a stylish model to show off the new kit, sat in front of one of those classic Venetian walls.
The away kit will be released tomorrow on July 30.
