Venezia are reportedly tracking Club America De Cali defender Pablo Ortiz for this summer.
According to WinSportsTV transfer pundit Pipe Sierra, the Serie A club is again looking to South America for their first top flight campaign in 20 years.
Ortiz turned 21 last month and has already received his first call-up for the senior Colombia squad, but hasn’t yet made an appearance.
He played 24 games for his club in 2021 and came up through their youth academy.
The report states that Venezia have not yet made an offer, but are considering a potential bid next month.
