Julio Velazquez admits “the draw was the fair result” between Udinese and Torino this afternoon.

“I think the draw was the fair result, as it was a very balanced game and we were up against a strong side with internationals like Andrea Belotti and Simone Zaza,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We played well, above all out of possession, showing grit and heart. It was a well-taken goal and we could’ve won it at the end with Machis.

“There are many games within 90 minutes and you can change them around with one, two or three strikers depending on the situation.

“Similarly, we don’t have to necessarily push forward or sit deep at all times. It’s about working out how to be most effective at that moment.”

Velazquez said that Kevin Lasagna was fit to play for the Italy squad.

“His ideal position is as centre-forward and he can be devastating in a two-man attack, but the most important thing is the balance of the team. I trust him and I’m sure that once he breaks the ice, he won’t stop scoring.”
