Vazquez is expected to leave Palermo this summer after announcing his desire for a new challenge a fortnight ago, prompting speculation that Roma could replace Miralem Pjanic with the naturalised Italian.
However, Zamparini – known for his reputation as a tough negotiator – insists the Giallorossi will have to pay the same figure as what has been quoted for Juventus to repurchase Berardi from Sassuolo.
“[Massimo] Oddo? He’s an excellent Coach, but I haven’t spoken to him,” the President told Radio Kiss Kiss
“I also like [Roberto] Stellone. My sporting director will be Rino Foschi [again].
“Vazquez? If Berardi is worth €25m then that’s his price. He’s underrated and the best Italian playmaker around, as seen by his numbers.
“He completed more dribbles and attracted more fouls than anyone else.”
