Palermo director of sport Rino Foschi confirms negotiations “are at an advanced stage” for Franco Vazquez to Sevilla.
The Italy international of Argentinean descent did say this week that there were talks in progress.
“It’s true, Sevilla want Vazquez and even if they have already signed (Joaquin) Correa from Sampdoria, I think the moves are in parallel,” said Foschi in a Press conference.

“We’ll see, if they present an offer that satisfies our needs, then we will certainly take it into consideration.
“Right now I can say with certainty that we are at an advanced stage of negotiations.”
Foschi returns to the Rosanero after 10 years away and is reunited with fiery President Maurizio Zamparini.
“I am much more experienced now and some things have changed here too, but I have the same enthusiasm as always. The team is 70 per cent ready and we must wait to sell a few figures before bringing anyone in.”
