The Rosanero boss was fired by the club this morning to be replaced by Davide Ballardini.
But Vazquez, who has become an Italy international and established Serie A star under Iachini, took to social media to criticise the move.

“I’m really sorry for the news that I’ve woken up to, but football is like this, full of enormous injustices,” Vazquez wrote on his Twitter account.
“I must only thank Mr Iachini and his staff for everything they have done for me and for Palermo Calcio.”
