Former Real Madrid and Manchester United star Raphael Varane is set to join Como on a free transfer, reports Fabrizio Romano.
French defender Varane, a former centre-back for Real Madrid and Manchester United, is set to join newly promoted Serie A side Como on a free transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Varane is available after the end of his contract at Old Trafford.

According to Romano, the 2018 France World Cup winner will sign a contract until 2026 with an option for a further campaign.
Varane will be coached by ex-Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas who obtained his coaching badges last week and was officially confirmed as Como’s head coach.
Como were promoted to Serie A in 2022-23 alongside Parma and Venezia.
The Azzurri have already announced a few summer signings, including ex-Roma striker Andrea Belotti, plus Alberto Moreno and Pepe Reina who spent the last season at Villarreal and also joined the club for free.
