Francesco Camarda became the youngest Italian player to make his Champions League debut and even scored for Milan against Club Brugge, but his goal was disallowed for offside after a VAR check.

Italian striker Camarda made history again on Tuesday, becoming the youngest Italian debutant in the Champions League at 16 years and 226 days.

The previous record belonged to Moise Kean, who made his debut in the competition at Juventus at the age of 16 years and 267 days.

Camarda even found the net a few minutes after his introduction from the bench in the second half, but it was disallowed for offside after a VAR check.

The Italian striker took his shirt off to celebrate and was also booked.

If the goal had stood, Camarda would have become Milan’s youngest Champions League goalscorer.

The Rossoneri secured their first Champions League win this evening, beating Club Brugge 3-1.

  1. Milan have gone back to the style of basically making the CF redundant. That cross into camarda was basically the solitary good ball played into that area all night. Morata left to feed on crumbs.
