It will allow officials to review calls via a monitor, and was used at this summer’s Confederations Cup in Russia.

“Today in Vinovo, Roberto Rosetti – responsible for the VAR project in Italy – explained the main situations for implementing the system and the timings involved during games,” the Bianconeri’s official website explained.
“Joining the representatives of the Lega Serie A at Monday’s meeting were Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved, CEO Giuseppe Marotta and Director of Sport Fabio Paratici.”
