Overnight a group of local ultras broke into the Stadio Ossola with the express intention of damaging the property.
There were banners and graffiti protesting against Varese, while benches were demolished, areas of the pitch dug up and even sections of the goalposts sawed in half.

Lega Serie B President Andrea Abodi announced that from now on they’d take part in all court cases against those who “damage the interests of our 22 clubs.
“We will be extremely tough, distinguishing between fans – even ultras – and the violent faction.”
