Donny van de Beek will leave Manchester United in the January transfer window and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are four options for the Dutchman in Serie A, but Juventus appears the less likely destination.

Van De Beek, 26, has only played 21 minutes for Manchester United this season and will surely leave Old Trafford in the winter transfer window.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Andrea Ramazzotti, Serie A clubs can hope to sign the Dutchman if the Red Devils agree to loan him out and pay a big slice of his salary until June.

Juventus have been mentioned as a possible option by English media, but Ramazzotti writes in La Gazzetta dello Sport’s newsletter that Turin is an unlikely destination for the ex-Ajax man, given that Manchester United would rather pick a club where VDB can play consistently.

This is why Genoa could be a feasible option especially because the Grifone already tried to get Van De Beek on loan last summer.

According to Ramazzotti, the 26-year-old has already been offered to Fiorentina, while Dutch players at Atalanta would help the Manchester United midfielder settle in Bergamo. Still, it remains to be seen if La Dea and Fiorentina are interested in securing the player’s services in the January transfer window.
