Allegri’s contract expires in June and although both parties insist that he will extend until 2014, Van Basten has been paired with his former club.
“There is absolutely nothing,” representative Perry Overeem told calciomercato.it. “Allegri is doing really well and I think he will extend his agreement at Milan.
“There was contact between us and Milan in the past – but that was before Allegri arrived at the club.
“Allegri is Milan’s boss and he’s doing a great job.”
The former Cagliari tactician joined the Diavolo in the summer of 2010 and won the Scudetto at his first attempt.
Van Basten, who spent eight years at Milan as a player, has had coaching spells with the Dutch national squad and Ajax.
