Napoli defender Raul Albiol is said to be the prime transfer target for his old club Valencia.

Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo claim the centre-back is their number one choice should Shkodran Mustafi or Nicolas Otamendi depart this summer.

It would be a return for Albiol, who grew up in the Valencia academy and played there from 2005 to 2009.

He went on to Real Madrid and joined Napoli in 2013, called by Rafa Benitez.

Now that the Spanish Coach has left, Albiol is no longer first choice at the Stadio San Paolo.
