As for the Rossoneri, they are currently focusing on other priorities, but coach Stefano Pioli did state after last night’s 4-1 friendly win over Monza that they were “short-staffed” in defence due to injuries.
The 29-year-old Argentina international joined Fiorentina from Real Betis in 2017 and his contract with them runs to June 2022.
