After making the move to Torino in the summer transfer window, the 30-year-old is now looking to get his international and club career back on track.

“I went to a new reality at Napoli, and I made myself available to take my opportunities,” Valdifiori explained at his Granata presentation today.

“In front of me I had Jorginho who was in great form, so this year I want to get back in play in the Granata shirt. I’m working hard to get the right style the Coach [Sinisa Mihajlovic] wants.

“The national team? Two seasons ago I made my debut for the national team and it was wonderful. I know I’ll have to do well here at Torino and if a call comes I’ll be delighted.”
