According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Paul Pogba’s return to action, Fabio Miretti and Nicolò Fagioli’s convincing performances could push USMNT star Weston McKennie out of Juventus in January.

The 24-year-old has scored three goals in 16 appearances across all competitions this season and despite a contract expiring in June 2025, Juventus would consider his sale in January, reports Gazzetta.

Massimiliano Allegri hopes to boost his options in the middle of the park in the second part of the campaign when Paul Pogba will return to action after undergoing meniscus surgery in September.

Moreover, Fagioli and Miretti put in convincing performances in the first part of the campaign, so McKennie could see his playing time reduced in January.

According to the report, the ex-Schalke 04 midfielder has several admirers in the Premier League, which could be his next destination after Juventus.

Previous reports in Italy had linked with USMNT international with a move to Tottenham. Spurs director Fabio Paratici signed him for Juventus in 2020 and McKennie has gone on to score 13 goals in 91 appearances with the Bianconeri.
