USMNT midfielder Gianluca Busio scored for the first time this season, helping his Venezia side secure a 2-0 win over Genoa.
Newly promoted Venezia ended a four-game winless streak on Saturday, beating direct rivals Genoa 2-0 at the Stadio Penzo.
American midfielder Busio opened the account in the second half with a lucky attempt from outside the boss. What seemed to be a pass, in fact, surprised Pierluigi Gollini and entered the net at the far post.
Busio scored on his 100th appearance for the Lagunari, who eventually secured a 2-0 win.
Whether it was a shot or a cross, it goes into the back of the net for Gianluca Busio!
