“I still feel like a footballer and I want to try an experience abroad,” the 35-year-old told the Corriere dello Sport. “Where? Dubai or the United States.”

The former Bari, Juventus” data-scaytid=”7″>Juventus and Barcelona player has enjoyed a trophy-filled career, but he has one regret.

“I didn’t manage to win the Champions League,” he added.

Zambrotta is just one of numerous high profile Milan departures this summer, a year after the club let Andrea Pirlo join Juventus.

“Milan need to find a new Pirlo,” the veteran continued. “His sale was a big mistake. I’d advise the Rossoneri to buy Marco Verratti of Pescara.

“He is an element that is growing and maturing. He could get very close to Andrea.”

Verratti, a surprise inclusion in Cesare Prandelli’s 32-man Euro 2012 long-list, is wanted by new Italian champions Juventus.
