The USA team set to face Italy in a friendly on Tuesday has released Weston McKennie and Luca de la Torre, so there are now only 24 players.

It is due to take place in the Belgian city of Genk on Tuesday at 19.45 GMT.

The US Men’s National Team announced it has sent home midfielder McKennie due to a hamstring tendon issue, so he returned to Schalke 04 for treatment.

Fulham player De La Torre remained in London to train with his club after a friendly defeat to England.
