“We will certainly do something on the transfer market, as with the coach we have identified what we need to do. There are two or three elements required to complete the squad,” Ursino told Sky Sport Italia.
“Our motto is to play football and that’s the view of our coach too. We are playing good football, we are up against a very strong opponent, but I am confident Crotone will play very well.
“We certainly won’t sit back and defend. We will play open and attacking football, as we always do. If you look at those on the Inter bench, let alone on the field, it’s clear we’d need a miracle, but we are sticking to our philosophy.”
Crotone do certainly try to attack, but they lack a hitman and fail to convert many of those opportunities.
“As I said, we have identified the area of the team that needs improving. We won’t name names right now, but there are some elements we are looking at.
“Our transfer strategy in January has always been to focus on Italians, so we will look to a young and Italian forward.”
It’s widely reported one of those targeted by Crotone is Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti.
